Fotom
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Fotom (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), published by Nixmio, handles information when you use the App on your iOS device and when you visit our marketing website at fotom.nixmio.com. By installing or using the App, or by using the website, you agree to the practices described below.
This website (fotom.nixmio.com)
The Fotom marketing website does not collect your loyalty card data. It may use essential cookies and, only if you consent, analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) to understand how visitors use the site. The data the App itself processes is described in the sections below.
Cookies and similar technologies
When you visit fotom.nixmio.com, we use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage for non-essential preferences on some pages) as described below. Essential cookies are required for the site to function; analytics cookies are optional and only used if you consent.
Essential cookies
These include cookies that keep you signed in to administrative areas (if applicable), protect forms with CSRF tokens, and remember your cookie consent choice. We do not use essential cookies for advertising.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect aggregated information about how visitors use our website — for example which pages are viewed and general traffic patterns. Google may process this data as our service provider. We do not use GA4 for advertising or cross-site profiling on these sites.
GA4 may set cookies such as _ga and related identifiers. Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where Google operates. Google's privacy information is available at
policies.google.com/privacy.
Your choices
On your first visit, you can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage preferences. Your choice is stored in a cookie shared across nixmio.com, remidue.nixmio.com, and appcharts.nixmio.com so you are not asked again on each subdomain. You can change your mind at any time using in the site footer.
If you reject analytics cookies, we do not load Google Analytics on your browser. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data — contact us using the details below.
Retention
Your consent preference is kept for up to 365 days unless you clear cookies sooner. Analytics data retention in Google Analytics follows our GA4 property settings (typically limited retention periods configured in Google Analytics).
1. Summary (the iOS App)
Fotom stores your loyalty cards on your device so they work offline. If you choose to enable cloud sync, your cards are securely backed up so they follow you to a new device. The App also uses third-party tools to keep it stable and to understand how it is used, as described below.
2. Information you provide
Depending on how you use the App, this may include:
- Loyalty and store card details you add — card name, barcode or card number, color, notes, and any image you attach.
- A profile photo and display name, if you choose to add one.
- If you create an account or enable cloud sync, the email address and name associated with that account.
You control what you add. You can edit or delete cards and content at any time within the App.
3. Information stored on your device
Your cards are stored locally on your iPhone so you have offline access. The App also stores your preferences (such as appearance and language) on your device. If you have an iCloud backup enabled at the system level, your device backup may include the App's local data; that backup is governed by Apple's iCloud terms.
4. Cloud sync
Cloud sync is optional. When you enable it, the cards and related content you choose to sync are transmitted to and stored on our cloud infrastructure so they can be restored on your other devices. We use commercially reasonable measures to protect synced data. If you disable sync or delete your account, synced data is removed in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
5. Analytics and crash reporting
To keep the App reliable and to understand how it is used, we use third-party services that may collect usage and diagnostic information:
- Google Analytics for Firebase — aggregated usage data such as which features are used and general interaction patterns, along with device and app information.
- Firebase Crashlytics — crash and error reports (including device model, operating system version, and diagnostic logs) so we can fix problems.
These providers process data as described in their own privacy policies. You can learn more about Google's practices at policies.google.com/privacy and about Firebase at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
6. Log data
When you use the App, and especially in the event of an error, our third-party services may collect log data such as your device's IP address, device name, operating system version, the App's configuration, and the time and date of use.
7. In-app purchases
Full access to Fotom is available through a subscription sold by the Apple App Store. Payments and subscription management are handled by Apple. Apple's handling of your payment and transaction information is governed by Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy. The App receives your entitlement status (whether your subscription is active) so it knows which features to unlock.
8. Service providers
We may share information with third-party companies and individuals who help us operate, provide, and improve the App (for example, cloud hosting, analytics, and crash reporting providers). They have access only to the information needed to perform their tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to use it for other purposes.
9. Children's privacy
Fotom is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA / similar laws)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can edit or delete your cards in the App at any time, and you may request account deletion or exercise other rights by contacting us at the address below.
11. Security
We value your trust and use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, including device-level protections provided by iOS and safeguards for synced data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the App, in third-party services we rely on, or in applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this document indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
